Events on the occasion of Victory Day

On May 9, 2023 Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus to Japan Evgeny Lavrinenko together with the heads of the Embassies of the CIS countries accredited in Japan laid flowers on the tomb of Richard Sorge, a Hero of the Soviet Union

For Belarusians it is a sacred holiday, a tribute of memory, deep respect and gratitude to Soviet soldiers, home front workers, partisans and underground fighters — everyone who brought the Victory.
