About the Film Screening at the Embassy of Belarus in Japan

On December 17, 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Japan hosted a screening of the feature film “Time to Return”, produced by the Belarusfilm National Film Studio.  

The plot of the film is based on the heroic actions of Belarusian partisans during the preparation for Operation Bagration.  

The Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus in Japan, Evgeny Lavrinenko, delivered welcoming remarks before the screening. He highlighted the heroism and resilience of the Belarusian people in their struggle against Nazism. The Belarusian diplomat also emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory for current and future generations.
