Video message of Shunichi Yamashita on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident

Today, April 26, 2024, marks 38 years since the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The Belarusian people remember that our Japanese friends were among the first to come to the rescue.

During the visit of the Embassy diplomat to Fukushima Prefecture, Professor Shun'ichi Yamashita, Vice-President of the Fukushima Medical University, holder of the Order of Francis Skaryna, addressed the Belarusian people with a video message.
