Activist Teruo Naito Awarded Jubilee Medal

Charge d'Affaires Stanislav Vishnevsky presented activist of the Belarusian-Japanese Friendship Society Teruo Naito with a commemorative medal «20 years of the emergency institutions of the Republic of Belarus» for his help in developing bilateral relations.

In 2009 Teruo Naito has presented the secondary school No 97 of Minsk with sakura trees that today symbolize the friendship between Belarus and Japan. In 2018, a memorial sign “Sakura of Friendship” in Belarusian and Japanese was installed on the Sakura Alley.
