About amendments to the Visa Rules of the Republic of Belarus

We inform you that on December 16, 2024, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus adopted Resolution No. 953. This regulatory legal act introduced amendments to the Visa Rules of the Republic of Belarus.  

Starting from December 20, 2024, a new visa application form for obtaining a visa to the Republic of Belarus has come into effect. Applicants are now required to use the updated template, with forms in English and Japanese attached. Please note the changes and prepare all necessary documents in advance for submitting the visa application.  

Additionally, we inform you that starting from March 20, 2025, citizens of Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Vanuatu will be able to take advantage of a new option — applying for an electronic visa to enter Belarus. This innovation is aimed at simplifying the visa process and increasing convenience for foreign visitors.
