About the film “Brest Fortress”

On June 24, a screening of the film “Brest Fortress” took place in Tokyo, organized by the Embassies of Belarus and Russia in Japan.

This event was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Japan, as well as members of the diaspora, took part in the film screening.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Japan Nikolay Nozdrev and Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus in Japan Evgeny Lavrinenko delivered a welcoming speech to the guests.
