Charge d'Affaires meets the Member of the Parliament of Japan H.Watanabe

On September 20, 2024, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Belarus Evgeny Lavrinenko met with the Member of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Parliament, Head of the Japan-Belarus Interparliamentary Friendship Group Hiromichi Watanabe.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, paying special attention to parliamentary interaction.

They also considered ways to strengthen relations between the countries, including expanding cooperation in the humanitarian field.

Following the meeting, they confirmed their readiness to continue the dialogue and develop partnership in the interests of both countries.
