Working visit of the Ambassador Ruslan Esin to the Kyushu region

June 28-29, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Japan Mr.Ruslan Esin (Ph.D.) paid a working visit to the Kyushu region.
At the meetings with the Fukuoka Prefecture Vice Governor Mr.Masaru Eguchi, Fukuoka city Deputy Mayor Mr.Atsuhito Sadakari and Ishizuka city Mayor Mr.Makoto Katamine the prospects of Belarusian-Japanese regional cooperation development were discussed. Special attention was given to the establishment of contacts between the Mogilev region of Belarus and the Fukuoka prefecture.
At the meeting of the Kyushu Business Cooperation Association (Kyunowa), attended by more than 60 businessmen, the presentation of the economic potential of Belarus was organized. The event was also utilized to establish contacts with the Japanese companies interested in cooperation with Belarusian partners.
During the visit the Head of the Belarusian Mission participated in the presentation of cheese, produced by Belarusian companies “Savushkin Product” and “Belovezhskiye Syry”, held in the showroom of the “Freezer System” enterprise in Fukuoka. The first delivery of Belarusian cheeses to the Japanese market was carried out in April 2017.
