Ambassador Esin meets with representatives of Japanese business and public organizations

On 19 and 23 August 2019, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Japan Ruslan Esin held a number of meetings with representatives of Japanese business and public organizations.

The meeting with the Chairman of the Association of the Belarusian-Japanese Friendly Dialogue M. Tozaki summed up the results of the visit of the delegation of the Association to Belarus. The meeting also focused on the implementation of the project on the supply of fast-erected panel housing to Japan.

During the meeting with representatives of Japan Tobacco International, the parties exchanged views on the state and prospects of cooperation between the corporation and Belarusian partners.

Plans to implement joint projects in the field of education and youth exchange were discussed with the head of the public organization Earth Identity Project Hiroko Kawahara. The Japanese side expressed gratitude for the invitation to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Zubryonok National Children Summer Camp, where children from the affected regions of Japan have been spending their summer holidays for 8 straight years.

Japanese partners were also invited to take part in the second Belarusian-Japanese Economic Forum, which is planned to be held on 17-18 September 2019 in Minsk.
