Ambassador of Belarus R.Esin presents Credentials to the Emperor of Japan

On June 9, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Japan, Ruslan Esin, presented Credentials to the Emperor of Japan Akihito.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador of Belarus highly estimated contribution of Japan to minimizing the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. R.Esin underlined striving of the Belarusian side for achieving qualitatively new level of bilateral cooperation in the political and economic fields.

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance of Japan, Taro Aso, also took part in the ceremony. The sides exchanged opinions on current state and prospects for further development of Belarusian-Japanese cooperation.

T.Aso expressed interest in proposals of Belarus to intensify the economic cooperation between the two countries.
