The Ambassador of Belarus Ruslan Esin meets with the Minister of Economy, Trade an Industry of Japan
29.07.2020 г.On July 28, 2020, Ambassador of Belarus to Japan Mr. Ruslan Esin met with Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Mr. Hiroshi Kajiyama.
The parties discussed the current state of Belarusian – Japanese economic relations and prospects for their development, taking into account, inter alia, the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
Ambassador Esin pointed out the positive dynamics of the development of bilateral trade relations and political dialogue between Belarus and Japan in recent years. He emphasized the importance of METI's support for initiatives aimed at expanding bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
Minister Kajiyama noted that METI supports aspiration of Belarus and Japan to develop bilateral economic cooperation and would be ready to provide assistance in implementing initiatives that reflect mutual interests of Belarusian and Japanese business circles.
